If you are thinking of starting a bar, cafe or restuarant business the likelihood is you’ll going to need some funding of some kind to either purchase a building, put down a deposit for a lease or purchase the initial equipment.
Of course that means you’ll going to need a business plan of some kind. Generally a business plan doesn’t need to be that long, maybe about 20 pages, but you’ll need to develop a plan to present to your bank and sell your idea. If you’ve never written a business plan before then how about getting a plan that’s already written so you know what should be in it but also get ideas what how to write one? I can suggest the following for various hospitality businesses:
These business plans are ready to download and it’s only a very small investment bearing in mind the risk both you and the bank will be undertaking. If you have any questions please leave a comment ! If you are thinking of starting a hotel business (which is actually very common these days) then why not try the hotel business plan which also has the restaurant/ bar element within it.
Once you have your business plan and finance then you’ll be ready to get everything else ready to begin to market and get your first customers inside your restaurant or bar and start to make profits to live the dream of running your own business. Marketing can be tough but people are still eating out in their millions each day so as long as you have found the right location and are targeting for your local audience you should be able to start and run a successful business !
